The City of Tomball, Harris County, Texas is accepting sealed bids for the “Critical Needs Improvements for the North and South Wastewater Treatment Plants”. The bid documents may be downloaded from www.civcast.com/bids.
Sealed bids should be addressed to the Project Coordinator, City of Tomball, 501 James Street, Tomball, Texas 77375 and shall be labeled “Bid Number 2017-07 – Critical Needs Improvements North and South WWTP’s, E&P Project number 2017-10002”, “DO NOT OPEN”. Bids will be accepted until 10:00 AM CST on June 29, 2017, at which time all bids shall be opened and read aloud.
A pre-bid conference will be on June 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM CST at the City of Tomball, Public Works Administration Building Training Room, 501 James Street, Tomball, Texas 77375; to familiarize bidders with the City facilities site visits will be performed after the meeting to those interested. The pre-bid conference is not mandatory.
Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must accompany the BID. The Owner reserves the right to accept or to reject any bids, to waive technicalities and to make any investigation deemed necessary concerning the bidder’s ability to provide the product(s) required, and to accept what in its judgment is the most advantageous bid.
During the period between the Request for Proposals or the Bid Solicitation, submission date, and the contract award, respondents including their agents and/or representatives/owners, shall not directly or indirectly promote their proposal or bid to any member of the Tomball City Council or City staff except in the course of City-sponsored inquires, briefings, interviews, and/or presentations requests. Violation of this provision may result in the rejection of the respondent’s Proposal submittal.
