The 5th annual Downtown Holiday Lamp Post Stroll in Tomball has again filled the historic downtown district with the colors of the season. 

 More than 50 downtown merchants and local organizations decorated most of the City’s ornamental lamp posts in a variety of themes from movies to traditional holiday looks.

 The lamp posts were judged by Precinct 4 Judge Laryssa Korduba with awards given to the top three displays on Market and Elm Streets, Commerce Street, and Main Street. An overall best of event award was given for the top lamp post design. 

 This year’s winners were:


  • Best overall:  Nonnies’s Creamery and Cafe


  • Commerce Street: first place -  Naturally Nancy ; second place – Legacy Beauty Academy; third place – Me and My Porch


  • Market Street: first place – Tomball Community Center Chair Volleyball Championship Team; second place – Granny’s Korner; third place – Tejas Chocolate and Craftory


  • Main Street: first place – Bramble and Bee; second place – Push Productions; third place –Designs by D

Sponsored by local business The Hutson Group, the Downtown Holiday Lamp Post Stroll, was designed to entertain visitors coming to Tomball during the holiday season, as well as draw new guests to town to see the colorful displays, shop, eat and have fun.

 The Downtown Holiday Lamp Post Stroll runs through Sunday, December 31.
